Comprehesive Examination
Consists of a thorough review of necessary radiographs, past medical and dental history, intra-oral and extra-oral findings, etc. The results of such findings provide comprehensive understanding of each patient’s unique medical and dental conditions, which would allow for a specific, tailor treatment planning for each individual patient.
Periodic Examination
Offers periodical review of patient’s past and current medical & dental histories. It is highly recommended patients to have this examination, at least twice a year, to ensure the patient’s dental health is kept in check, and to detect and treat early any dental condition that may have arisen since the last visit. Long delay in detection and treatment of dental problems can lead to more damages to patient’s dental health and would likely be more expensive to restore.
Problem-focuss Examination
This type of examination aims at relieving the patient of the current pain or discomfort. Only necessary radiographs will be needed, along with a review of patient’s past medical and dental history, in order to determine proper course treatment to remedy the issue at hand.
