Implant-Support Hybrid Prosthesis

This type of prosthesis is fixated (screwed directly onto the supporting implants) rendering it non-removable by the patient, yet removable only by the dental professional, for repair and maintenace, as needed.

It is designed for those patients who would like to have the feeling that the prosthesis “stay put” in place, without the discomfort of it moves around during eating, talking, laughing, etc… It also functions well, as compared to natural dentition, giving the patients the ability to eat his or her favorite foods, without discomfort and the embarrassment of the prosthesis being dislodged from the mouth during use.

Periodically, the dental professional may need to unscrew and remove the prosthesis from the patient’s mouth for thorough cleaning, repair or hygiene maintenance, as indicated.
