Alveoloplasty

Alveoloplasty is a minor surgical procedure designed to remove irregularities on the residual ridge.

This procedure is done, usually at the time of extraction, to ensure the proper and smooth healing of the extraction socket(s). It can also be done, pre-prosthetically, to ensure the residual ridge is uniform in shape to comfortably support future prosthesis.
